KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Recruitment and onboarding
Implements and manages the recruitment processes and procedures
Participates in individual recruitment processes, discussing staff needs with line managers, screening applications, and conducting interviews
Creates, implements and manage local onboarding plans
Ensures all relevant documentation is prepared and processed as part of the hiring and onboarding process
Line Management support
Provides guidance and advice to managers on salary structures, terms and conditions, and benefit programs
Provides counseling and support on various HR policies and procedures
Assists in the design and execution of reorganizations and restructuring plans
Employee relations
Answers questions and responds to requests from line managers and employees
Provides information to employees and line management on the implementation of labour laws, collective labour agreements, working conditions, etc.
Investigates and resolves day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management
Investigates and advises both line management and employees on HR matters, (re)directing questions if appropriate to higher level
Goal setting & performance management
Coordinates the annual goal setting & performance management cycle
Assist in performance management and employee evaluations
Training & development
Assists in career development issues, discussing career paths with line managers and recommending suitable candidates for promotion
Coordinates internal, external or on-line training programs and activities
Support the global or regional lead HR training and development programs
Compensation and Benefit
Coordinates the annual salary review and bonus cycle processes
Supports local payroll, benefit administration and other C&B duties
Business partnering
Contributes, as member of the OpCo Management Team to assist the design and implementation of the overall strategy for the OpCo in order to align HR agenda with the overall strategy
Advises management in decisions with substantial human resources consequences
Assists management to handle personnel issues and problems
Supports in implementing change management processes in the business or major HR change initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent, MBA (HR) will be an added advantage
More than 8 years’ solid & relevant HR experience
Experience of all HR processes and principles
Knowledge of India labour law
Good communication and written skills in both local language and English
Competency in MS applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
