Sourcing Specialist, Talent Acquisition - Pune

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Partner with Recruiters, HR Leaders and Stakeholders to strategize different ways to build diverse talent pipelines based on short- and long-term staffing projections

  • Conduct in-depth research, utilizing a variety of sources, to identify the best executive talent for open roles at XPO

  • Utilize a range of channels to source talent and build diverse pipelines with the awareness and understanding of the type of channels that yield the best talent

  • Leverage social media platforms, professional networks, universities and other sources of data to source potential passive as well as active candidates

  • Stay abreast of innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete in markets

  • Develop research standard methodologies and identify and/or design new search methodologies and tools

  • Execute all phases of research projects including developing the project plan, providing research expertise, and handling outside research vendors as necessary with minimum handholding

  • Follow trades and news sources to watch the latest executive and industry moves and companies with premier functional training grounds

  • Execute title and organizational mapping of target companies as assigned

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any stream

  • 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in Talent Acquisition or Research, specifically sourcing or recruiting, highly preferred

  • Proven success building talent pipelines and providing recruiters with quality candidates

  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and other Human Resources Management software

  • Strong research skills to locate potential candidates via social networks, professional sites, job board sites, resume databases, etc.

  • Creative ability using a variety of research tools combined with a systematic, organized approach to executing research projects

  • Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously

  • Strong computer and analytical skills specifically in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs

  • Demonstrated strengths in collaboration and working successfully with local and remote team members
