This position is part of Intel's Network and Communications Sales Team driving Intel deal wins, design wins and revenue in the communications service provider segment. As we journey towards 6G and focus on ramping 5G, the CT Office complements the Intel Field in deep technical engagements, solutions development and providing technical advice to customers and partners You will be responsible for building relationships with key account stakeholders at Communication Service Providers & their eco-system vendors ( i.e. Telecom equipment manufacturers, ISV, OSV, OXMs, System integrators), becoming their technology advisor through understanding their business and technical problems, while demonstrating how these can be solved using Intel-based products and solutions. The individual will manage deep technical engagements from pre-sales inception through to Proof-of-Concept and final deployment. The role requires the individual to have extensive expertise in Telecommunications Networks, 5G functions and cloud services. This position requires the candidate to be experienced with strategic selling methodologies and be experienced at engaging at all levels of a customer organization, including senior management. This is a commissioned technical sales position. Daily activities will include but not limited to: Developing and promoting solutions that incorporate Intel platform ingredients in the Data Center compute, memory, network, security, storage, manageability, cloud, 5G and orchestration software areas. Strong software background and SI experience for building prototypes & demos - more configuring software components than low level code generation. Developing strong relationships with customers' engineering & product teams and key account executives to be trusted advisor to drive solution improvements while solving business problems. Supporting Intel account teams with Intel 5G, cloud infrastructure solutions, responsible for enabling the overall architecture, solution optimization/customization on top of Intel hardware & software platform Strong experience in data center and cloud services architecture as well as experience working at or with leading Cloud Service Providers, Internet Portal/Search Companies, Multinational Cloud Equipment Manufacturers, XaaS Companies or System Integrators & ISVs along this line Well versed in adjacent trends and technologies such as IOT, Cloud, Analytics and Network Virtualization (Telco Cloud). Using experience, knowledge and customer relations to Influence Intel's strategies and contributions to relevant industry standardization work such as 3GPP, ETSI, open source communities such as ONAP, CNTT, Open platform group etc.


10+ years' experience as business consultant, enterprise technology specialist, solutions/systems architect at telco operator or systems integrator in the communications infrastructure field Ideally the successful candidate has a University degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. Comprehensive understanding of NFV/SDN, Cloud infrastructure and the overall network transformation underway within Comms industry required to understand 5G end-to-end. Strong communication skills to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customer base Smooth verbal and written communication skills in English plus at least one local language as applicable. Candidate needs to have strong social collaboration skills, be highly self-motivated and disciplined, a great team player with an open mind and able to work in a multi-cultural environment Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and to achieve high quality results Ability to travel on a frequent basis up to 25%
